Muhammad Abdul Basit
Muhammad Abdul Basit is a Pakistan-based political scientist and a columnist. His work has appeared in The News International, The National Interest, Independent Australia, The Diplomat, CGTN and Modern Diplomacy among other publications.
He has been working as a freelance writer for the last six years and has written content in dozens of niches.
After doing his bachelor's in Civil Engineering, he is currently doing MPhil in political science from Forman Christian College (A Chartered University) situated in Lahore, Pakistan. His areas of interest include, but are not limited to, international relations, climate change and sustainable living, gender inclusivity, finance, and political philosophy.
Basit is an introvert but likes making life-long friendships, the smaller the social circle the more close they are. Although he is a person of prose, he does sometimes do poetry too. He loves memes, music, reading, and spending time with his nephews and nieces.
